Live Trading

Live trading on FlipVault is a real-time, peer-to-peer experience modeled after classic Web2 games like RuneScape, where players meet in trading rooms to negotiate and exchange items. It brings that same interactive, game-like feel to Web3—allowing you to negotiate and finalize trades directly with another user.

You can initiate a live trade with anyone from your friends list or by searching their username—or be invited by another user. Trade invitations will appear on the Live Trade page, where you can accept and join the session.

Once inside the live trade interface, each user selects what they’re offering—this can include NFTs and APT. Unlike offline trading, you don’t request specific items from the other person. Instead, you both choose what to give up, and communicate via the built-in chat box to negotiate the terms.

When you're satisfied with your offer, hit the “Select” button to lock in your trade proposal. Once both users have selected their items, you’ll each need to “Ready Up” to confirm and complete the trade. The transaction only finalizes when both parties are ready, ensuring fairness and full consent on both sides.
